Yoga nidra – how to access rest

In this 4 week course we will design and record a unique yoga nidra practice for you. Yoga nidra is a guided rest practice that invites deep restoration while you lie comfortably still.

Unlike movement-based yoga, this relaxation technique works directly with your autonomic nervous system, gently guiding you into the delta brainwave state -the threshold between waking and sleeping where profound healing occurs. Research shows nidra can significantly ease insomnia, anxiety, stress, and symptoms of PTSD. In this personalized training, you will:

  • experience yoga nidra firsthand
  • discover the language and intentions that resonate most deeply with you
  • and leave with your own custom-designed practice to take home.

During the course we design a practice specific to your needs and requests. Kathleen will make a recording of your personal nidra practice for you. Recommended items to bring: comfortable warm clothing, a notebook and pen, water and possibly a snack. There is tea available for the practice.

What you receive

  • 4, two-hour workshops on yoga nidra
  • 3 recorded short practices for nidra and meditation practices
  • a personalized nidra practice of approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

When This course takes place on 4 Saturdays from 15.00 until 17.00 hrs:
7 February, 7 March, 28 March and 16 May.
It is recommended that you attend all the workshops. In the case that you miss a week a recording of the weekly practice will be offered.
